The Rosedale community has begun planning for a fundraising pancake breakfast in order to help bring relief to the Haitian people. By now we all know of the terrible devastation that was caused by the 7.0 earthquake with an epicenter almost on top of the city of Port-au-Prince. While the United States government and aid agencies around the world are making large commitments to send aid to Haiti, we envision a way for Rosedale to not only make a contribution to this effort, but to also take this moment to bring our community together.

We have decided to send our financial aid to Haiti through Heart to Heart, a local aid organization that specializes in teaching and providing materials for people around the world to live healthy lives. Water sanitation and medical supplies will be a huge need in Haiti for the foreseeable future, and Heart to Heart has the infrastructure and experience to address these needs.
